Service Unit Events for 2016-2017

Fall Open House: “(re)Boot Camp” – Sunday, Oct. 9. 1:30-3:30PM. Planned by Sarah Dale at Chan Rec Center.  Please see this flier for more info!

Holiday Boutique: Usually held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. the first Sunday in December at Chan Elementary.  Led by Dana Savoie

Brownie Blast: Troop _____ will be planning this event this spring for all Brownies. Details to come.

The following needs to be updated for 2016-17

Junior Encampment. Julie Powell is organizing this event in cooperation with Girl Scout council at Camp Lakamaga. Date: Feb 21-22 for Fourth and Fifth Graders.

Daisy Day. Troop 10407 will be planning this event in March for all Daisy Troops. It will be a Taste of Twilight (Camp). Details to come.

Only for Older Girl. Ann McIntire of Troop 12916 will plan this event for our Cadettes and older girls. Generally has participation of about 25-30 girls. Usually held in the Spring.

Cadette Experience. Available for a 6th grade or 7th grade troop that would like to use this event to finish their Journey. Event is basically designed to talk to 5th grader Girl Scouts and leaders about opportunities in Girl Scouting as they reach the Middle School level.

SU Briding. If you like, the SU has hosted a su-wide bridging event in the past for all grade levels moving from one level of scouting to another. Script, prop etc is available in the SU supply box in the twilight camp/SU storage unit.
